T-shirt Designs From July

"YouMe" is a non-profit company that is going to be started to bring public awareness of poverty and starvation. The first project is for somewhere in Africa. The proceeds for the shirts will be used for food and aide.

The other three shirts are for a band called "Remeber The Fallen." These are designs for shirts that be printed cheaply, since most musicians are starving.

"Chades" Flamboyant Armadillo

For some reason when I heard the words "flamboyant armadillo" I thought of the 80's charactor Rat Fink. I then thought about how I have never seen a live armadillo but I have seen armadillo-a-plenty dead on the side of the road. So I created a "flaming" giant armadillo in a steam roller out for revenge.
The second drawing is of a flamenco dancing armadillo. A few years ago I saw a jazz flamenco performance by Paco De Lucia and he had a dancer come out for a few songs. The dancer performed with flamboyance and gusto we americans rarely see. My armadillo has one advantage: He can play the castinets with his fingernails.

Inviting Children To Save The Environment

Here is an illustration I did to promote storm drain awareness in Athens-Clarke County. It's a 4 to 5 color print job to be screen printed on t-shirts for children. There were very specific instructions for the art and I did the best I could for a one-day turn around, considering I have another full time job. I drew each element by hand and combined it all in Adobe Illustrator.
